If you are ready for your faith to take off, you are going to have to travel beyond having conversations with God.
Just because God is able to do miracles does not mean you should pray and wait around for Him to deliver you one.
The manna will fall. Always. It rains manna daily for those who go beyond the talking, and commence the doing. It’s a matter of being able to see it. We don’t start off in the light. We begin in the darkness and WORK our way by God’s grace into His Light. One day, one prayer with one action behind that prayer at a time.
For some inexplicable reason- we understand that in the physical world that we live in, we must WORK in order to receive wages and food. But when it comes to our faith, we believe we can pray for the things without putting in any work. Perhaps because we know that God is Almighty and can make anything happen. Maybe because WORKING HARD for spiritual things is not explained in detail. When I think of “faith alone”- I can understand and see why I use to think FAITH ALONE meant more faith and prayer than anything else. I didn’t understand the relationship between HARD WORK AND FAITH. I related WORK to the world I live in and not the heavenly realm.
How blind I was. Which is precisely why my spiritual growth was more growth in knowledge, but very little doing. Which yields a weak believer in Christ. My faith, My trust, and MY spiritual growth did not begin to skyrocket until I began understanding that and connecting the WORK I DID IN THE WORLD, wasn’t just working as a carpenter, or computer networking, or working for a corporation. Now it became something new entirely. Now, I began building homes for God. Now, I began to see no matter what field of work I was in, that was just the entry point to that field or genre of people that I would be able to connect with while serving God and getting paid to do so. This transformed my life. Every detail, every line, every process, every method, now became a blessing to do and to have. And it must be done in excellence. In accurateness. In consistency. Enjoy your day at work this day and the rest of this month. Remember that you are working for Almighty God. May He transform your work day into a blessed day as He transforms your atmosphere and takes you to a entirely new place and understanding, in Jesus name, Amen.
