God going silent, is a fundamental necessity- it teaches us the value of His Presence.
Thank You Lord, for every time You have given me the ‘silent treatment’. It’s taught me:
That without You I am lost.
That without You I cannot feel.
Without you, I am restricted to happiness ‘money can buy’.
Relationships & Love
When those we love, walk out on us-
Sometimes it is to teach us the same thing. To give us time to appreciate the love we have been neglecting. Silence. And space. Are a necessity.
When two people are meant to be together-
When disagreements occur, when breaking points arrive- it is when they each turn and face God, and listen, that they are convicted, then directed back to each other with remorseful and humble hearts.
In The Silence
When the pain becomes too much, it blinds us and we lose focus. Our primary focus shifts from God to relieving the pain and abscence. We immediately chase the person, in an effort to make ammends. In the chase we our priorities changed. When God isn’t your #1, it all begins to unravel, goodnight, bye I am done.
The more we focus on the person, instead of God.. the further they move away from us. The more we turn our focus back onto God, the more He works within the heart of the person we love and directs them back home. Without God, there is no healing, just band aid’s that will wear off. God IS the love shared between two people.
