Transparent Helping Hand

My life purpose- is to help others. Any way I can.

I am not a millionaire. Nor do I ever wish to be one. I help others through giving freely whatever resources I have- time, knowledge, effort, work, energy, ideas, prayer, life experiences, wisdom, financial help, and more important than all else sharing God’s Truth while helping.

Not truth that I heard about, Truth that I have lived- suffered through, endured through, and rejoiced through.

Today, I want to be very transparent.

I have began a new work project with unlimited opportunity. I am not speaking financially or career wise…I am speaking in the aspect of SERVING GOD.

Imagine a newly built football stadium that holds 100,000 people plus. Every Sunday you get to set foot on campus, and not at the same stadium but various ones throughout the United States. This is not my outline, but an exact representation of the number of lives interacted with each time I come to work.

It is only an illusion that we are separated from each other and God. Think in terms of electricity and energy…like light switch.

One man going into a crowd of 100,000 who is 100% dedicated and committed to Almighty God- God can use Him as one hell of a powerful instrument to do His Will.

Without electricity – there is no football game, or tv network coverage. One man IN GOD, does not have to talk and interact with every single person inside the stadium in the same exact way one source of electricity can POWER ON THE ENTIRE STADIUM and every person within the stadium, all 100,000 people will be recipients of that beautiful bright light that allow the game to be played. Allows the refreshment booths, eateries, to operate…even for those at home to watch the game.

When you view it like this, the potentional we have to help others and touch others lives by GODS POWER is astounding.

However, even when presented with amazing opportunities to serve God, we snooze. We get caught napping and dozing off. What do I mean? Why do you think the account of Peter and the rest of the apostles was put into the Bible? God wanted it to be there….for a reason.

At the most important hour- when they needed to be alert and awake to help guard and protect Christ- they nodded off into sleep. Not once, twice!

I didnt plan to write this…but as I write it – I KNOW GODS SPIRIT IS INVOLVED.

This is what is happening to me at this moment in my life. God has opened the door to an incredible opportunity, which I have been working hard at every day. But working hard isn’t enough. STAYING WIDE AWAKE AND VIGILANT IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT.

If I do not remain WIDE AWAKE and VIGILANT guess what? ALL THE HARD WORK WILL BE IN VAIN.

The opportunity to touch thousands upon thousands of lives….could be squandered. Imagine, half of the NFL’S season cancelled. No electricity for 8 out of 16 games. A blessing turned into a living disaster.

Then we wonder and scratch our heads as to why PROMOTION hasn’t arrived. Why doors of opportunity have not been opened. What did we do with the last one that was given? The last five that God has given you? If you or I have squandered the last five opportunities ….why would we expect to continue getting more when someone more dedicated and committed COULD BLESS MORE LIVES and HELP MORE LIVES…through God?

What hinders us more than anything? What stops us dead in our tracts?

What closes and shut down the amazing opportunities faster than anything else?

DIRECT NEGLIGENCE– outright thinking we can get away with disobeying God- I am speaking on a daily basis- with things we consider small and trivial since we are doing a lot of good work.

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HIS FORGIVENESS– instead of immediately stopping what we are doing wrong…we make a weekly or daily habit of it.

WHAT WE ARE PUTTING INTO OUR BODIES EVERY DAY. The soul is the human hand placed inside a nice leather glove. The glove is representative of ‘the human body’. Have you ever tried to feel the texture of a rock, it’s edges, it’s texture with a pair of thick gloves on? You can’t do it. It’s pointless. Staying awake also includes MONITORING what we our placing inside our bodies. NOT just what we are doing with our bodies that is wrong. Medication , drugs, too much of anything that hinders clarity, focus, feeling, THE MORE WE TAKE THE THICKER THE GLOVE GETS AROUND THE SOUL and it numbs our ability to feel, hear, and serve God.

Our Work Is More Important- believing that the work we are doing, the project, the commission, whether we have been appointed, elected, volunteered, or hired- that the work WE our doing is more important and necessary than someone else’s. This is bias. It is not amount quantity it’s about quality. You touch a 1,000 lives at an event, yet none visit the next week or call. Versus helping one person- who might turn out to be a great leader of many.

IF WE ARE TO TRANSFORM THE ATMOSPHERE BY GODS ALMIGHTY POWER AND BRING HIM GLORY BY RADIATING HIS GLORY ONTO OTHERS…WE MUST ABIDE BY TRUTH AND LIVE IT. EVERY SINGLE DAY. THE BEST WE CAN.

Allowing ourselves to give into weak indulgences like- cursing, watching porn, anger, cheating, lying, denying, committing or saying white lies, not declaring the truth when asked, obfuscating, ….committing any action, behaviour, routine, whether physical, or mental that God has been working on you with, or that you already know YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING.

If you, If I ,want to shut down the doors of blessings from God’s hand…then let us continue being negligent and I can assure you HE WILL BLESS SOMEONE ELSE…He will remove us and give it to someone else.

WHICH IS FITTING.

Please, petition God for me…I need help with WILL POWER, DISCIPLINE, SELF CONTROL, every single day. I want to help God touch as many lives as possible or as many as He wants me to…whatever His plan is…and right now, I pray for the support of my brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen.
