Learning about God is not enough, ever.
We must go from ‘imagination and thought’ to the ‘reality only experience can provide’.
The lack of doing this- will keep us bound and restricted to ‘knowing of’ God, instead of ‘having a relationship’ with God.
These are two very distinct things.
Two things that are easily identified and distinguished.
The Classroom
Study of books. Impersonal. Second hand knowledge. Memorization of facts, details, and ‘how-to’ procedures without every doing the how to. This is the ‘book learning’ phase.
Time spent in the classroom is meant and designed to be preparatory for what comes ahead. To take the student from ‘book learning’ to ‘life learning‘.
This phase is diverse and covers various topics and subjects, to allow opportunity , for the natural gift of the student to rise within himself.
Life Learning
From classroom- to field trip.
Life learning- teaches what no book can. It takes a student from ‘imagining’ to ‘having’ a real life experience.
Thought And Experience
Thought- belongs to the classroom. It is not constant, nor free flowing, it ceases, gets interrupted, is choppy. It is not creative, it is learned. It is logical and bound by limits of being rational and understood.
Experience– belongs life learning. Experience is a non-stop continous unstoppable creative genius. Freely flowing with no limits. It teaches thought.
When I find myself in prayer, in worship, and standing within God’s presence- it is my spirit that is within His presence.
Here-
His creative genius flows freely into me
Without hesitation, nor interruption
His spirits flows abundantly in, to create and aspire within me
a master piece of expression and work
to take me from imaging
to one day living the hope and dream I once imagined
all,
by a continued adoration and collaboration
with THE GREAT I AM
who is the
Master Worker- Creator, Builder, and Eternal Life Giver!
The Center Of My Focus
The moment I return the center of my focus to anything other than God, my thoughts become interrupted, sectioned, and fragmented. Back into slavery I go. My thoughts become jagged pieces of glass that I must painstakingly put together.
It is when I return to this ‘leading by thought’- instead of ‘leading my thought by my God given spirit‘ – that creativity hits a wall. I begin riding on the turbulent waters of logic and reason. The supernatural- Creates. Logic and Reason- try to understand Creation.
It is only by continued repeated exercise, by a training of one’s will- that one learns little by little how to ‘keep the faucet’ of His Creative Genius running. Otherwise, risk the pipes becoming frozen.
This process takes time. A lifetime. The process is never perfected by Man, it is only perfected by God while Man is and strives to remain in:
His Glorious Presence.
A heart that loves a thing, must obtain and retain that thing, to breathe and live.
This is going from The Classroom to:
Rolling and Riding on the Roller-coaster of Eternal Life!
