As Much As We Would Like To Think,
We are not like the devil, we are.
There has always been focus placed upon genealogies and bloodlines.
Whether to lay claims or rights, to elevate one group over another, or to ascribe higher importance.
Jew or Gentile?
From the original 12 tribes of Israel or not?
From Abel or Cain’s descendancy?
I myself have tried to understand what could cause a person to choose their own way instead of God’s Way?
We are obviously all born ignorant, but Life indeed teaches us clearly – as much as we would like to think we are in control- WE ARE NOT.
Life also teaches us – GOD is LIFE.
To choose any other route or path is pointless, and without future or hope. So why then would anyone else choose their own way?
Who alive loves death?
Therefore, why do some people simply refuse to submit to God?
One theory I had or what I believed could be a contributing factor was- their descendancy.
Their genes.
Makes logical sense.
In the same way – if your mother and father and grandparents all had some form of cancer there would be a higher risk or predisposition to you developing cancer.
So I reasoned, perhaps if a person was born from Cain’s descendancy, which some speculate is the devil’s bloodline- that would cause a person or at least play a factor in their struggle/incapacity to choose God. Not to the degree of being damned. But in some degree, play a factor. Traits like ‘stubborness, rebellious,’ play a huge factor in a person’s willingness to do things ‘someone else’s way’.
This morning God blew my thoughts completely out of the water.
I love it when he does that.
I asked myself ‘what if I discovered my father was the devil? Or Cain? Or Hitler?’
That’s an enormous weight upon someone…so much so they could believe they in fact were damned. Meant to stand in the pile of those destined to hell. After all, as my dad would always say ‘somebody has to make up that pile’.
But then God dismantled my rational logic by means of His Supernatural Infinite Clarity, as He always does….and made me see the simple truth:
If you discover your father was the devil himself,
don’t stop there. And I am not sure why I have before.
Meaning, The devil isn’t the stopping point- It’s ALMIGHTY GOD.
So this irrational idea of mine, and others, many others – right now God is speaking to anyone and everyone – orphans, children who learned they were abandoned, those who had parents to only learn later the awful nature of their father or mother,
GOD wants you to know- YOU are not doomed.
If your father was the devil himself, so what…Where do you think the devil came from?
That’s right- Almighty God is His Father.
And nothing bad comes from God. Only pure GOOD. TRUTH. LIGHT.
It was the devil’s choice that damned him. And so it is with every single one of us.
We can be little devil’s on Earth, or choose to be little walking angels of God’s light and God’s Goodness.
May any spoken word or belief over your life or in your life this day – that convinces you or has convinced you that you are damned, that your FATE is sealed- MAY IT BE BROKEN RIGHT NOW and catch fire and turn into ashes BY THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, in Jesus Christ name, amen.
Be free, now- to live and choose God…in Jesus name, Amen. Forgive your father’s and mother’s, regardless of their crimes and acts, remembering who it is that has forgiven YOU– OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.
