The Best Minister

I apologize for getting this message out so late in the day. From the moment I sat down to put it all together, interruption after interruption ensued.

Nevertheless, the message has arrived and is ready.

June 16, 2021 Wednesday

No matter which avenue at present is your favorite ‘go to method’ to receive God’s direction, tonight’s message is to-

ensure we are going to God directly.

Hebrews 3:9

We all have our favorite ways and favorite people, who God has placed in our lives to do just that- inspire us toward Him.

But tonight, He is reminding us-

not to get lazy
not to get comfortable

the thing is we all get lazy and comfortable, and before we realize it- we have developed a reliance upon someone else to feed us God’s Word, instead of turning to God Himself, to feed us.

We are all short on time.
We are all in a hurry it seems nowadays.

The irony is we live in a modern technological world that is supposed to be quick, convenient, and save us vast amounts of time, but none of us seem to have any time to spare.

The quickest and easiest thing to do- is to jump online and tune into someone preaching God’s Word and allow them to explain away. Or through any other medium or method- that saves us the valuable commodity of time. But saving time in this case is cutting corners- with God there are no shortcuts. Hard Work and Time are required.

The quickest and easiest- is the cheapest and never lasts. Like a pair of cheap shoes, our feet begin to hurt the moment we slip them on.

The Fundamental Sources

God Himself- His Son Jesus Christ- The Holy Spirit
His Living Word– also knows as The Bible- a tangible form we can hold
The Living Breathing Word– Our Savior- also knows as Christ Himself– as it says in John 1:1

By going directly to God, the only way we can- through the door way of prayer and communication- Jesus Christ-, and by learning to keep the prayer line open.

Prayer– is communication, dialogue, conversation. Conversation leading to divine inspiration- while we study and read His Living Word.

It’s called His Living Word for a reason– allow His Divine Holy Spirit to breathe fresh life into you each time you sit down to read His Living Word, by remembering to invite and ask God to lead you each time you do. Allow THE BEST MINISTER in the World to teach you His Word. His Holy Spirit is The Bible’s GPS navigator for every situation and circumstance in our lives.

Isaiah 30:1 – ^{“Woe to my rebellious children, says the Lord; you ask advice from everyone but me and decide to do what I don’t want you to do. You yoke yourselves with unbelievers, thus piling up your sins.“}

It is a rich blessing to have those individuals in our lives who set us on fire for Almighty God, but we must be careful to not allow that blessing to turn into a handicap which can turn into spiritual retardation- if we are not careful. We cannot let them always be the one to light the fire, what about the FIRE GOD has given you?!!! Therefore, stand up FIRM, and FULL of His Almighty POWER given to YOU, and LIGHT THE FIRE, Return the blessings to those who inspire you and all others that God leads you to.

ALLOW THE BEST MINISTER TO MINISTER TO YOU DIRECTLY- JESUS CHRIST.

CHRIST is our LIVING BREATHING WORD– He teaches us, equips us, and leads us,-every step, every word, and in every action along the way.
