May we worship in gratitude and awe the ONE who calls us blessed. ~ Our Daily Bread Jan 19th,2020
How often do you stop in the middle of what you are doing,in order to instead give God thanks?
How many times do you not have to stop because you continuously keep Almighty God present in the task or work being performed?
My Testimony:
I open the windows. I turn the speakers facing the outside. I hit the play button and proceed to go outside. Inside my spirit rises up to praise God…right along with all other living things around me. When it’s time to praise and worship, my heart and soul swell up with JOY.
That JOY is from Almighty God. As I do and I begin to sing, the cardinal and sparrows listen…they themselves become inspired…they begin to sing as well. Together, we are in harmony. I know it, they know it, and together we sing^ giving GOD THE GLORY.
No matter where I go, My life at present day is filled with song. Every day I rise to the blessings from God. He fills my path, where I walk, where I live, o where I travel with HIS GLORY..and what a beautiful life it is..where I go, the earth responds… As soon as I get off the car and begin to walk..where there was no bird chirping or singing , suddenly one arrives…their chirp is much like an AMEN. HELLO. Proceeded by song.
“Thank you’s abound”
After stopping to take time to be grateful this morning, I went to hang the peanut suet feeder off a limb by the front porch. My ole lady outside with me says to me “hey, that’a good spot and all but where are the birds going to land in order to take a peck?”
All I could do was chuckle. Amazing how blind I am in so many different areas. And here I am the bird lover and enthusiast. Had she not said anything, I can imagine I would have hung the feeder and later find myself wondering WHY IN THE WORLD ARE THE BIRDS NOT FINDING IT?
Here is where God’s touch came in.
I needed to modify the hanging suet feeder. Add something to it so the birds could perch on. Because I literally almost hung it, as is. I have included some before and after shot.
Items: 1 peanut butter suet feeder- Walmart. 1 random wooden hanger left behind by previous renters. 1 string. 1 blessing from God’s creative design desk.
