If I fall, I fall on Jesus
And when I’m standing, I’m standing on the ROCK – Jesus Christ
Whether I live, O Whether I die
I belong to Jesus Christ
Whether I am up, O Whether I am down
I will give Our Father in Heaven Praise
I shall arise full of song
Free as a bird
Content and full of joy
What does the Sabbath mean to you? What comes to mind if someone asked you to explain what the Sabbath meant to you personally?
I recently asked a pastor, what the sabbath meant to him… and his response was astonishing. He responded as if I was speaking a foreign language and needed an interpreter.
I began this Christian walk 14 years ago or so. Last year, with 13 years behind me, was the first year that I wrote down ‘honoring the Sabbath’ as one of my personal goals. And it wasn’t until one FULL year later, that by God’s grace and will, I began to do so.
It is important to understand the difference between following rules and honoring Almighty God.
In the beginning- that’s all we see- rules, regulations, laws, and personal changes that we will be required to make. And we don’t like change. So we procrastinate. We continue resisting God. Because we don’t yet see the value in changing or following anyone else’s rules, but our own. We don’t yet see the incredible wisdom in God’s ways.
Later, after much suffering, failures, and undeniable proof, we begin to appreciate, value, and highly regard God’s Word and His ways.
Before, all we could see were words like:
obedience, rules, laws, requirements
but now,
protection, wisdom, life, joy, blessings, safeguarded,
and now we RUN to them instead of run away from them.
Almighty God has a way of making things crystal clear to each of us. And we thank Him for doing so, if not we would wander lost in darkness forever. His ways are better. His way is the only way. His way is the road of Truth. All other roads are but mere fragments of truth with deception grafted in.
We can have the whole world standing behind us. Factions, governments, international allies, banks, all the money in the world, but so what.. it doesn’t mean squat- if we don’t have Almighty God standing beside us.
Ezekiel 20:12
Isaiah 58:13
Once God places it on your heart to set a day aside for Him, which is not going to Church on Sunday’s. I remind you to stay strong. Stay committed. Trials will come to break your spirit. Temptation will arise within you, especially strong the night before, and the day of. Stay the course. When you fail or fall, remember, get up, dust yourself off, ask for forgiveness, and re-commit yourself to honoring God. Don’t stay down. Don’t stay discouraged.
God honors those that honor Him. God honors and pleads for those that He loves even when those that He loves spit in His face, deny Him, and turn their backs on Him. Yet He remains faithful.
Where else is there anyone like Almighty God?
Who else is there to rely upon?
With Almighty God standing behind us, who can stand against us?
Glory to Father, The Son, And The Holy Spirit.
Amen . Timely word . The LORD brought Sabbath to me over a year ago ..I feel exactly how you have described your email and its conformation to me . Blessings

Growth!
Let our faith deepen. Let our testimony be bold. Let us be a living demonstration and testimony of the Almighty Power of Jesus Christ.
So that where we walk, we radiate the light of Jesus Christ. As we walk, may His Glory Transform, Adorn, that the torn may be reborn. None who met Jesus Christ, were ever the same again. That’s the TRANSFORMATION POWER of JESUS CHRIST.
