As for the children of God, their strength and confidence is The Lord..
But, in order for STRENGTH TO BE EFFECTIVE, a man must know who he is in the Lord.
The only way to do this is to have a relationship with God.
Relationship requirements:
Daily- Not a routine, that one goes through the motions as one would pour their morning cup of coffee, no sir.
It is to desire, respect, and VALUE GOD, and what THE ALMIGHTY STANDS FOR
A RELATIONSHIP REQUIRES DAILY: talking, walking, praying, sacrificing, working, cussing, sweating, toiling, surrendering, conceding, crying, falling upon, standing on, asking, studying, reflecting, analyzing, testifying about, worshiping, writing about, declaring, witnessing, helping, praying, talking, conversing, spending time with, interceding for, looking for all day as one would for their child, or husband or wife but even more so than that.
Why?
Because a husband, a wife, a mother, a father, a daughter ,or a son, a dog, a cat, a plant, a favorite place, a favorite song-
Allll of these can pass away and life will continue on.
Except for the Lord Almighty.
If you allow Him to fade away from your heart,mind, and soul- soon, very soon- your life will be no life at all.
Like a empty shell along the beach,with no ocean to wash up against it.
A life without God is to be a star without a sky to adorn.
All joy, goodness, and love, fades into a illusion of mirrors, where the person cannot even see their own reflection anymore. Leaving no way out. They fumble forward,backwards, toss hither and thither, they climb up and they do down, without ever making an inch of progress. They exist traveling in circles of perpetual slavery, unable to think freely, to act freely, to do freely. Forever lost, dumb, and eternally bound to captivity.
