School teaches us information and data.
Information is composed of: letters, numbers, words, formulas, principles, laws, which all boil down to information and data.
Some call information and data- knowledge.
That is true.
Some say Knowledge is Power.
That is a lie.
Data and information have no power until the person puts action behind the data and information. The book by itself has no power what so ever. The book sits and waits.
Plain english- numbers and words do nothing unless somebody reads them or counts them. Its like having a bunch of money and never spending it, useless.
Why even have the money then?
You can’t win Bingo unless you go play bingo.
Data and information you learn in school is DEAD unless you do something with it.
Without action, that knowledge is like an old book on a shelf collecting dust because nobody cares enough to read it.
Where then is the real power?
Real power is gained by life experience behind the data and information and then having the wisdom to exercise a choice that lifts you up instead of tearing you down.
WE all make mistakes, staying frozen is one of the biggest ones we can make.
Failure belongs to the Champions of Today.
There is no such thing as a champion who hasn’t failed.
Champions aren’t born overnight. They are born from continuing to get up every time they are knocked down. Champions never quit. They die fighting.
In Jesus name, Amen.
** in some churches/religions that I have personally been to, they excel at memorizing scripture- in other words memorizing data and information. When speaking to someone that has memorized many scriptures, and taking into consideration the listener knows little to none, one can easily think they are wise when they are not.
They could be trained well. A dog isn’t wise. He is learned. Man makes the dog look wise by training him to remember how to do certain things.
[Many times I used my memory to impress those around me in this very way, thinking that I was impressing them. But in the presence of a wise man, this tactic fails miserably. The wise man sees the ignorance of the fool clear as day. What good does a mathematical formula do if you don’t know how to insert the numbers and work the formula to arrive at the solution? You have the formula memorized and that’s great and dandy, but that doesn’t solve the math problem, now does it?
Many religious people today are just like that. They have a ton of formulas memorized yet they cannot express to you or testify to you about one single experience of the Holy Spirit, or How Almighty God speaks to them, Why? Because they are so busy trying to impress people with what they know and have memorized while fighting about being right, that they have no time to hear God speak to them. They care more about being right than hearing Almighty God.
God help us.]
