As I was perusing the Top Ten, inside I could hear myself screaming ‘what the hell are you doing?!!! It is a complete waste of time, you have a lot of other things you could be focusing on, or accomplishing! ‘ yet I remained fixated and wired in like a telephone pole in the ground.
As I looked over the list, I pulled up a few and was curious to see if I could tell why they were in the top ten.
The things that stood out are:
It is not that the people in the top ten are extraordinarily beautiful, or insanely talented that has caused them to have millions of followers and has adorned them with fame.
It is because SEX SELLS.
It is because they are portraying desire through sexy clothing.
The masses follow blindly the desires of their eyes that are attached to their groins.
They mistake the utter stupidity of what they see and call it talent.
They chase after it and wish to be adorned by it. They believe they would be on top of the world, but they would only be at the bottom.
The top ten, keep me away from being there, it would be like being the top ten who need the most help.
I do not have anything against any of them who are on the list, because I don’t even know them. I have never met them. Nor do I care to. I will not be chasing after them while holding up my phone in some desperate attempt to snap a photo. They don’t have anything I want. They have what I don’t want.
To have what they have, is to have a 150million reasons and distractions to keep them distracted from God.
Think about this, to make it to the top ten, what did you have to agree to do in order to get there? I’m speaking of photo-shoots, promotion deals, contracts, that convince a person to do something that increases popularity, that is marketable, that sells.
And as I stated, one thing is abundantly clear SEX SELLS.
