Growing up in Church I was taught two main roads to connect with God. Prayer and through God’s Word- The Living Bible.
It wasn’t until my mid 30’s that I began experiencing God through Nature, through his Creation. Sure I had experienced God through nature my whole life, but it was in an automated generic response kind of way. I had always enjoyed nature and animals while recognizing God was the Creator; it led me to have an appreciation and awe but there was much more to be understood and experienced.
God took me deeper into his wisdom of Creation, ” take notice of me… who I am. ”
“I am in the dog, I can be found in the tree over there that stands like a mighty tower alongside the stream. I am the living water that fortifies the tree. I am the stream. The green high grass sways as the breath of my lungs pass them over. Look for me, Son, and you shall find me. ”
Everywhere I set my gaze, your presence is. Your spirit is the life within all things. Silence is heard by those not listening to the abundant joy that Nature continuously sings as she worships and praises daily. I yearn to sit among my fellow brothers and sisters, in all their different forms, I am their equal, not their master. I together with them sing songs of eternal gratitude, as we live in awe of your light.
Shine! Shine! Shine upon us this day, Father in Heaven. Glory be to your name.
Allow our eyes to see the light which you have instilled in all things.
Psalms 37:9
For you are the Fountain of life; our light is from your light.
James 1:17 But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light. He shines forever without change or shadow.
Daniel 12:3 And those who are wise- the people who of God- shall shine as brightly as the sun’s brilliance, and those who turn many to righteousness will glitter like stars forever.
John 8:12 Jesus said : I am the Light of the World. If you follow me you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, my living light will flood your path.
[Image below is the Flower of Life. I have only seen it once in my life , during a spiritual meditative journey, which I commenced by prayer and by asking God permission for the journey since it would include a small bite from the cap of a Golden Teacher, and half a stem. Up to that point in my life I had no knowledge of any sort of what the Flower of Life was. My only aim for the journey was spiritual, and what a journey it was. Before me I saw a perfect mathematical mechanism, engineered and designed in exactness, it’s mechanisims moved in synchronicity… beautifully adorned by an array of vibrant colors, from red-oranges-to purples. It reminded of the inner workings of a Swiss watch.
