Good job on continuing to write.
I am in the process of rereading chapter three right now and writing down some sections that speak to me.
As I do, I wanted to point out some things that always come to mind.
Discipline manifest itself in the will of He who writes. To write consistently in the same manner and style throughout the entire letter or piece represents: determination, awareness, and skill. It represents that the material being read is now being exercised by the will of the reader and they are now changing from the inside out.
Also,
If you find yourself writing the chapter in a haste to mail or any piece for the sake of any reason related to pride, to show/demonstrate our growth, rather than focusing solely on the material and whether we are growing in understanding of the material, then we do more harm than good.
There is one word that comes to mind- Disingenuous.
If we should ever find ourselves practicing such folly, we should stop. We should recalculate the importance of remaining vigilant against vanity by arming ourselves with the shield of integrity.
The purpose of the material is to gain depth of character. To grow in wisdom, to learn, to be awarded the keys that open the gates of Life.
If there remains corruptness in the inside, the gate will not open, even if the possessor holds a key that fits into the lock and by all means should open the gate, it shall not swing open. The value of integrity, cannot be bought. The phoney, the Charlatan, peruses up to the gate with key in hand while he whistles his favorite tune. All his life he has cheated by taking the short cut to prosperity,
That is a secret of God. one can walk up to the gate with the Word in his hand, but the gate will never open. One can stand in front of the gate and recite the entire collection of books from His Word yet the gate will swing open.
While another man with no Word (Bible)in His hand walks toward the entrance gate and before the man gets 10paces of entry it swing open toward the man, as if the greet him merrily. Although the man holds no physical word in his hand serving only as an artifact, he carries inscribed upon the tablet of his heart and soul each verse. Because of this inscription this man is a walking beam of light causing the gate to swing open his way, all too ready to allow his feet to enter.
