Learning To Trust In God Alone

Do not let any person living or dead, obstacle small or great, trial or temptation, any object- animate or inanimate, any thing- material or immaterial, passion whether it be love or lust, a noble pursuit or pastime, stand in the way of serving Our Lord Jesus Christ.

For it is only through His Son and by His Son alone that we shall find the Truth, The Way, and Life.

Do not be led astray. The Bible, referred to as God’s Word is a refined invaluable asset of the highest accord. God Himself has provided the Bible to equip us and serve us in battle. That is why the Bible is also referred to as a sword.

A sword? A battle? For which battle? One may ask.

Ephesians 6:10 from the Bible verse 10:

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

The knowledge within the Bible sharpens our senses and our ability to see through the rampant deceit in our lives, beliefs and our societies. The Living Bible is our ally, our Friend, and vast strength is woven within its pages. It serves to not only strengthen us, but also protect us while equipping us to fight against our enemies by bolstering and solidifying our Faith in Christ Jesus.

It is through this Solid unwavering Faith in Jesus Christ, that enables a Christian to be bold and assertive. With this Faith comes understanding. Understanding the rules of  battle and the keys to claiming victory. Alone we are defeated. Plain and simple. Through Faith we are saved and come out victorious. Our puny mortal bodies do not frighten our many spiritual enemies. But when we solidify our Faith, we dig down profoundly into the rich resource God has given us, through this Faith, it empowers us to access and stand behind His Authority and Sovereignty. We then, go into battle not alone but together in Christ, with Faith, Authority, and Victory.

A good example would be a man who has broken the law and now faces criminal charges. He receives a letter commanding him to appear in court so a hearing can be held. He proceeds to court and stands before a judge or magistrate who will determine his fate. This man has no authority other than the authorities or rights provided him by the government to which he pertains, so therefore he will be subject to the authority of the judge or jury. He cannot stand up in court and dictate to the court what his punishment should be for breaking the law. For if he did, he would be mocked and ridiculed. They would surely say “Who do you think you are?”. “You have no authority here.” This man cannot come against or fight the authority of the judge because the judge is sovereign and he represents the law of the land. This is how it is in our spiritual battles. We must stand behind God’s authority, through solid Faith, so that we are not ridiculed or laughed at, but instead feared. May we remain humble, remembering it is not we who are to be feared, but the mighty power of God within us. For apart from God we can do nothing.

But within and through Him ALL things are possible. ~Philippians 4:13

God knows who are His. Take courage. Do not lay down for but a moment. Take a breath. Eat. Regroup. Continue forward. Those who are His shall not be defeated. They shall not be stripped away or out of God’s hand. No matter how bleak or doom, deep or profound, what is troubling you is, God is infinitely greater.

Do not linger around those who speak much but say nothing. Listen closely to the matter at hand, study and analyze their many inquiries by which they entice you. Examine the results of all their inquiries and notice where they lead- confusion, disarray, and hopelessness. They will always produce more meaningless questions while prudently seeking answers to questions that lead no where. They have been led astray. Help those you can and move past those you cannot. You are not mean to save every soul, lest not your kindness and eagerness to serve be used against you.

Revert back to whom you can trust. To whom no falsehood exist. Take heed, always remembering whether People or Spiritual Entities, Reptilian or Alien, Foreign or National, the Lost and Dead love company, it is no fun being lost alone. They will cling to any remnant of light they can, while walking amongst the shadows of their darkness.

Save yourselves and trust in Him that laid down His life. There is no other. Many powerful spiritual creatures, demons, shall come forth taking possession of many, internally and externally. They will perform many captivating things and wonders to captivate one’s attention, to bewilder them in amazing astonishment like a spectator at a circus. Be weary. Be vigilant. Be aware. Those that decide to keep the company of the sort for too long will soon exclaim: “What amazing capabilities I now seem to have. All of a sudden it seems I can read minds and I know somehow what’s going to happen tomorrow. I am surely on the path of truth and enlightenment.” These demons and the like seek worship and adornment that is not theirs to receive. It belongs to God our Father. They are like cunning Foxes. They aim to replace God in your life by becoming your God and enslave you. They aim to blind you and lead you where they want.

Take time to examine the example in 1 Kings 18:22 below:

Elijah on Mount Carmel

16 So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah. 17 When he saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?”

18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”

20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”

But the people said nothing.

22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the Lord’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. 23 Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by fire—he is God.”

Then all the people said, “What you say is good.”

25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it.

Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.

27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs[a] of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”

34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again.

“Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.

36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”

The self proclaimed demon gods in the above example had been performing many wonders for the people. That is one of the reasons the people believed. The people bowed down and worshiped Baal and Asherah convinced they indeed were Gods, and took them for their Gods. But take notice of one monumental key factor, when they were put to the test before the crowds none moved. None showed up to demonstrate all their glorious power which they had previously been so prone to display. Why is that? Because although they lie to others, they cannot lie to themselves. They were not Gods! They were created by God, to serve a purpose yet they chose another path. A path of unrighteousness and blasphemy. They shall inherit their reward. And so shall all those choosing to follow them.

They knew this was a battle of altar’s they could not possibly win. Ever. Contemplate this extraordinary example the next time anything in existence attempts to place itself before you or in your life, and you catch yourself following a new doctrine, teaching or idea that leads to multiple Gods, a different headship, or different forms of God.

Stop.

Revert back to the examples throughout history contained in God’s living and dependable Bible. In something true and honest. Light instead of darkness.

“When we find ourselves lost and alone in the dark, we must find light to see ourselves out.” ~JR Mendoza

Although thousands stare upon the same picture, both wise and fools alike will not see the very deception in the picture before them. It is because we Humans tend to see what we want and what we are focused on at the time. That’s how many magicians and illusionist are able to take the watch off your wrist while wearing it, because they have diverted your focus somewhere else.

We humans are fallible. Mistake after mistake. This is why we must never lose sight of truth and where to find it. We must continue learning to trust in God, daily, and in Him alone. He is dependable. He radiates goodness and gleams of Hope. He is life to those finding him. He does not waiver back and forth. He does not boast or quarrel. He provides peace in the midst of war. He is a rock and refuge, a paradise or haven in the midst of a desert storm. He is forever an eternity and over more. Delight in Him, and you shall rejoice forever!
