An example of a stronghold of the mind would be the following:
A persons inability to let go of thier current beliefs.
A person who has seen with their own eyes the deceit but immediately reverts back to their beliefs instead of changing.
A person who believes the current information they possess and the interpretation and understanding of that information or doctrine is infallible, without any error, when the very originating source of that information continously changes the information they dessiminate and has been proven false various times.
A person who is arrogant.
A person who is not willing to learn anything new in God’s Word without the help of a pamphlet, or other publication.
A person who believes they need a publication or other literary work in order to understand God’s Word, or a particular chapter, or verse.
A person who has been shown with thier own eyes page after page of numerous symbols, demonic imagery, occult representations and references that are incorporated into the publications they themselves currently use and utilized to arrive at thier current understanding of God’s Word; and after discussing and reading a scripture in God’s Word and captivating a true understanding without the aid or influence of mentioned literature, they will find themselves reverting back immediately to the library of books within their possession and researching these books only to reaffirm the vicious stronghold of lies griping their minds to smoother out any and all hope of liberation.
A person who refuses to investigate their own beliefs or organization’s history.
A person believes by researching their organization or asking too many questions means they are opposed to God instead of realizing that those who do investigate and research are doing so in search of God and truth.
A person who cares more about being right than changing their own misfounded beliefs.
A person who says : I know the answer I just can’t remember it right now, instead of simply saying: I don’t know the answer, please share with me.
Sound like someone you know? Hmmmm, and what religion are they? Hmmmm. Take a wild guess.
You already know the answer without me providing the answer.
If your loved one is suffering from these strongholds of the enemy, keep praying for them. It seems the more you try to liberate them by sitting down with them with and sharing Gods Word and shedding light upon the wicked lies they’ve been taught, they dig down deeper into the very foundation of corruptness they so adamantly defend. The villians who’ve infiltrated their minds recognize the threat and push them backwards reverting them to their books and publications to interpret God’s Word which is one of the culprits of their misunderstanding. They are unable to see the irony. The true culprit, however, are the men who seek Glory by properly understanding God’s Word yet intentionally misleading people. I know that’s a strong statement. Perhaps the argument can be made that themselves are just like a follower, completely blinded by the various tactics of the enemy and thrust into the surety that it is God whom is illuminating them and their organization. Such a stronghold on someone can be deafening to the ability to reason. I myself have walked upon the road of wickedness. I understand that while many of us willingly decide to walk upon that road and disobey God, internally we know we are walking in darkness and going against the grain God has given us; which is rooted in the glory of Truth by means of His Son who is Our reigning mighty Saviour Jesus Christ and because of this grain it convicts us to change course and place our feet back upon the road of eternal Glory.
The Bible mentions that there will be men who accurately know the truth, just like the Father of lies- Satan, but will deliberately misconstrue the truth for their own egotistical reasons. Whether they deliberately are misleading people or not, is not the main focal point. What is the main focal point is that one separates from following the wolves to following the Lamb of God. That one sees and confesses when they themselves have fallen victim and led astray by placing thier Faith in what men profess instead of going to God directly by lacking the Faith that God will answer any and all questions. One must surrender their will to God’s and allow Him to continue speaking to the heart and soul.
MATTHEW 7:7 says: Keep searching and you will find. Keep asking and it will be given. Keep knocking at it will be opened.
JOHN 14:6 Jesus says: I am the truth, the way, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
MATTHEW 7:15 says: Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
JOHN 14:15 Jesus says: If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.
Verse 26-But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
